May 19 - 21, 2006: 3rd Annual Warrior Rumble

Well, a year ago...we thought this might be where we would be as Freshman at CCHS, on the bench listening to the coaching skills of Coach Couey...but as we all know, that's not going to happen since he resigned as of May 25, 2007 @ 8:30, just hours before he was suppose to hold tryouts. Thanks to Coach Dodgen, Coach Armstrong, and Mr. Shannon Gannon...tryouts continued and most of the boys pictured here with Couey made the CCHS Lions Team! Go figure?

May 18 - 20, 2007: 4th Annual Warrior Rumble, Murfreesoboro/Lebanon

The boys played a hard game, sometimes looked like a FOOTBALL game instead of a BASKETBALL game. Here, #31 - Jared Nave and #23 - Colin Jones put up a good fight for the ball!

We WON our first game at Central Middle School in Murfreesboro (Sat. 4pm game) against the Clarksville Knights. GO CANNON COUNTY! It had it's moments, up by 16, then they cut it to 3, then they tied it up and then we ran off and left them!

December 8-10, 2006: 2nd Annual Buccaneer Classic, Lebanon, TN

March 30 - April 01, 2007: Riverdale Hoops Classic

Somehow, we always end up with Ben Taylor as a Ref, everywhere we go....

We won this one on Friday night, by a 21 point margin, against the Cookeville Heat.

Coach, Greg Cripps, has to keep his players in line, even if it means tying their shoes for them.

We lost this one, but the Bearcats went on to win the tournament.

March 23-25, 2007 : 5th Annual Greenwave Shootout, Gallatin

What's up with the bottoms of the shoes? This was the 1pm game on Sunday vs. TN Trojans!

May 5-6, 2007: 3rd Annual Cavalier Rumble - Cookeville, TN

We really appreciate everything that Greg and Kelly do for the boys. Kelly even took up a broom this weekend. The floor was filthy and nobody would clean it, so Kelly cleaned it herself at half time. Josh thought this was a hoot.

Well, we made it to the FINAL, out of 9 teams. We played the Alabama Lightning team from North Alabama-Ardmore. We played them once before in Tullahoma, with one ref for 3/4 of the game. They were pretty rough that time, but we hung in there with them - only went down by 9, but it was back and forth until the last 5 minutes...but, hey, we got a medal. Way to Go Boys.
